those that are “Little Bit” sized and smaller (including Stablemates). Models that are larger than Little Bit size will be removed
from the show ring.
Meows and Minis Live is a NAMHSA qualifying show. All horses placing 1st or 2nd in this show (except for fun
classes) will receive a NAMHSA ticket. All classes are OPEN classes – they are not separated into novice,
junior, or senior divisions.
WHY DO YOU NEED TO COME? Meows and Minis Live is a fund-raiser.
We will hold an auction and raffle on the day of the show to benefit Cat Guardians, our local no-kill cat
shelter. Since 1989, Cat Guardians has found homes for hundreds of cats. Many of the cats at the shelter
are permanent residents due to medical conditions or unsuitable personalities, and these are given loving
care by the volunteers. The shelter is not-for-profit and operates on donations. The profits from the auction
and raffle will all be donated 100% to the shelter. Last year we raised over $3,000 for the shelter, which took
care of many vet bills! To learn more about this wonderful shelter, please go to http://catguardians.hypermart.net/.
***If you would like to donate an auction or raffle item, please contact Chris Wallbruch.
All items are gratefully accepted!***
This year, we will again allow people to turn in items that the shelter needs in exchange for a raffle ticket. Every
item is worth one raffle ticket! J You may bring them to the show and exchange them for a ticket at that time.
The shelter can use: Lamb & Rice dry & canned food - any brand, Scoopable litter (Please NO Tidy Cat or Cat's
Pride), Regular Litter, Baking soda, Pine Sol, Paper Towels, 30-gallon yard waste bags, Canned food
(any brand), Stamps, AA batteries, Gift cards for Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Petco, etc (stores where we can buy
supplies like sponges, cat beds, etc. for the shelter)

I am an Animal Rescuer
My job is to assist God's creatures
I was born with the need to fulfill their needs
I take in new family members without plan, thought or selection
I have bought dog food with my last dime
I have patted a mangy head with a bare hand
I have hugged someone vicious and afraid
I have fallen in love a thousand times
and I have cried into the fur of a lifeless body
I have Animal Friends and friends who have animal friends
I don't often use the word "pet"
I notice those lost at the road side
And my heart aches
I will hand raise a field mouse
And make friends with a vulture
I know of no creature unworthy of my time
I want to live forever if there aren't animals in Heaven
But I believe there are
Why would God make something so perfect and leave it behind
We may be master of the animals,
But the animals have mastered themselves
Something people still haven't learned
War and Abuse makes me hurt for the world
But a rescue that makes the news gives me hope for mankind
We are a quiet but determined army
And making a difference every day
There is nothing more necessary than warming an orphan
nothing more rewarding than saving a life
No higher recognition than watching them thrive
There is no greater joy than seeing a baby play
who only days ago, was too weak to eat
I am an Animal Rescuer
My work is never done,
My home is never quiet
My wallet is always empty
But my heart is always full
In the game of life, we have already won
